DESCRIPTION

The OTDR-XK40D optical reflectometer is a device that allows you to determine the state of fiber optic connection. The device allows you to check the attenuation of fiber optic connections, and also in the case of damage to the fiber, the location of the place where the defect occurred.


OTDR-XK40D combines the functions of an optical reflectometer, optical power meter, light source and fault locator (VFL). The device performs measurements at wavelengths of 1310 and 1550 nm. This enables full diagnostics of fiber optic lines in terms of fiber, connectors and splices attenuation. High dynamics allows measurements to be carried out over distances of up to 100 km. The measurement result is presented in a user-friendly graphic form with marked events - splices, joints, damages, etc.
