OVERVOLTAGE LIMITER AXON-AIR/CAMERA

The AXON-AIR/CAMERA is first level of protection for CCTV systems, which use external IP cameras. The device protects DVRs and monitors connected to the Ethernet 10/100/1000 Mb/s networks against damages caused by overvoltages, which can be caused by lightning strikes.

The device has built-in gas protective elements, which protects all wires of the twisted-pair cable. The discharge current is carrying away to the ground by PE wire. Used gas protective elements are characterized by high resistance to overvoltage pulses, which ensures effective protection.

Metal casing guarantees more resistance to mechanical damages and ensures good shielding of the entire protective system.

The condition of correct protection is connecting the AXON-AIR/CAMERA device to the proper grounding or PE wire. It is recommended that the grounding parameters were consistent with current regulations. Don't connect the device PE wire to the lightning rod of the building!
