Advantages

Black Bird is yet another Full HD dash cam offered by Xblitz.

The housing is made of plastic, however, the quality at this price range is very good. An SOS button at the front panel protects the current video against overwriting or accidental deleting. Video quality is adequate and the dash cam records clear and sharp images with a wide angle lens with a 170° field of view. The quality of recorded sound is also very good. Like other Xblitz dash cams, it starts automatically at power on (by turning the key in the ignition switch) and shuts down several seconds after the engine is turned off. XB-Black-Bird offers good price to quality ratio.

Disadvantages

Despite high video quality, the images recorded on a bright and sunny day may be slightly overexposed. There also seem to be some issues with WDR, in particular when driving with the sun in your eyes. The buttons at the bottom of the device also make it difficult to access and navigate the menu. Built-in IR illuminators do not improve the exposure in any way.
