The AXON-PVT limiter is designed to overvoltage protection of cameras. Protection system uses high current gas protective elements carrying away the discharge current to the ground, and high speed semiconductor elements eliminate the overvoltages between wires in transmission line.

The device is equipped with protected video signal line and can be use for applications at systems with protected power.

Removable screw terminals are used as connecting elements. The "100 Ω" terminals are used to connection the protecting pair of wires from twisted-pair cable, and the third terminal can be used by installator as signal ground or to cable shield connection for FTP cables. Additional terminal is not pre-connected to the ground. The "Power" terminal is used to connect the power of the protective device. The grounding cable is led out, connected directly to the housing and terminated with fork end.

The device is an asymmetric protector. The transmission line is connected to "Line" terminals and the protected equipment to "Device" connector. The condition of correct protection is connecting the AXON-PVT device to the proper grounding or PE wire.
