The AXON-VIDEO is designed to overvoltage protection of electronic devices working in analog CCTV systems, such as: cameras, monitors, DVRs. The AXON-VIDEO is equipped with the protective elements which limit the overvoltages appearing between transmission lines and PE wire and also carrying away the discharge current to the ground.

The device has the elements limiting the dangerous voltage appearing between signal wire and cable shield. Due to it, the AXON-VIDEO provides wide-range protection of the connected devices. The BNC socket is directly connected to the housing, but BNC plug is mounted on the 20cm long coaxial cable. The grounding cable is led out, not connected directly to the housing and terminated with fork end.

The AXON-VIDEO is symmetrical protector without marked input/output. The condition of correct protection is connecting the AXON-VIDEO device to the proper grounding or PE wire.
