BLC - configurable Back Light Compensation
BLC reduces a phenomenon observed on the images recorded by the cameras positioned directly in front of a high-intensity light source. |
In the image recorded in front of a high-intensity light source, the foreground is dark and not clearly visible. BLC makes the image brighter, sharper and the objects in the foreground more easily recognisable. As a result, the contours of the objects are more pronounced and can be easily identified. |
BLC is also immune to noise, and can use automatic detection and image correction, however, the background is usually significantly brightened. |
