DESCRIPTION

A limiter designed to protect devices connected to the Ethernet 10/100 Mb/s network, including devices powered by PoE.

Device is equipped with 2 lines - data transmission line (pairs 1-2, 3-6) and power line (pairs 4-5, 7-8). The both lines are protected by overvoltage elements, which carrying away the discharge current to the ground and protecting the wires between themselves within the same pair. To increase the load of power line the wire 4 is shorted to wire 5, and the wire 7 to 8.

The condition of correct protection is connecting the AXON-POE device to the proper grounding or PE wire.
