The DS-K1T500S external access controller with RFID reader has been extended with a camera, which significantly extends its functionality. In addition to reading cards in the 13.56 MHz S50 standard, the device also offers face detection, including the option of taking pictures of the person using the reader. Pictures are saved on the Micro SD card located inside the device (not included). In addition, the built-in camera allows reading the QR codes generated by the iVMS4200 application, and the speaker and microphone enable bi-directional voice communication. Thanks to the use of the camera, it is also possible to double verify using the presence of the face in the field of view of the camera together with the QR code or during the authorization of the RFID card.

The controller can work as an autonomic device, but the use of all its features is possible only when connected to a system based on the iVMS4200 software.
